A New Kind of Knowledge Partnership
(Living Platform for Applied Learning)

An international applied learning and academic innovation organisation focused on co-creating and managing experiential learning, startup scale-up, industry immersion, and transnational higher education programs across developing economies.

Stewardship · Strategy · Global Trust

Every meaningful platform needs more than structure—it needs stewardship.

The International Praxorium Council exists to hold that responsibility. It serves as the strategic conscience and guiding presence of the Praxorium ecosystem, ensuring that learning does not remain abstract, research does not become detached, and innovation remains anchored in human and societal purpose.

The Council provides the strategic stewardship and moral compass for a living platform for applied learning—one designed to address complex challenges in developing and emerging contexts.

At a time when global knowledge production remains concentrated in a few regions, the Praxorium deliberately centers its work in Asia-Pacific, Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia, where demographic growth, economic transition, and societal change demand context-sensitive, practice-driven solutions.

The Meaning of Praxorium

The word Praxorium carries the philosophy at the heart of this platform.

Praxorium (noun) is derived from praxis (Greek: action, applied knowledge) and -orium (Latin: a place or domain). It signifies a space where thinking meets doing, and where knowledge finds expression through practice.

A Praxorium is not merely a center or an institution—it is a living environment. A place where learning is experiential, inquiry is engaged, and research moves beyond publication into application. It is where ideas are tested against reality, refined through experience, and transformed into solutions that matter.

In this sense, the International Praxorium is not just an organization—it is a shared domain of action, guided by stewardship, sustained by trust, and animated by the belief that knowledge fulfills its purpose only when it serves life.

Our Approach

The Council brings together distinguished academic leaders, senior practitioners, policy thinkers, entrepreneurs, and global innovators—individuals who have moved fluidly between theory and practice, and who understand the responsibility that accompanies knowledge. Drawn from multiple disciplines, geographies, and intellectual traditions, they are united not by institutional allegiance, but by a shared commitment to applied learning for public good and responsible impact.

Rather than governing through hierarchy, the Council works through Commons governance principles, acting as a custodian of purpose, quality, and integrity. Its role is not to control, but to ensure that the Praxorium remains intellectually rigorous, ethically grounded, globally inclusive, and meaningfully connected to real-world challenges.

The Council leads through dialogue, guidance, and catalytic leadership—enabling rather than instructing, connecting rather than directing. In doing so, it ensures that the International Praxorium remains a space of calm, clarity, and credibility within the complexity of global academia, innovation, and societal change.

Praxorium was created with a simple belief — education must go beyond theory to create real-world impact. In a rapidly evolving world, true success comes from the ability to apply knowledge, innovate, collaborate, and lead change.

Our Values

Our vision is to build a global community where experiential learning, applied research, and innovation become catalysts for sustainable growth and impactful solutions.

Our mission is to bridge knowledge and practice by creating dynamic collaborations between academia, industry, and entrepreneurship, preparing future-ready leaders for a connected world.

The spirit of Praxorium is guided by four core values:

  • Applied Learning with Impact — transforming knowledge into practical capability and measurable outcomes.
  • Global Collaboration and Inclusive Growth — building diverse partnerships that foster shared knowledge, equal opportunity, and collective progress.
  • Innovation and Entrepreneurial Excellence — encouraging creativity, agility, and bold thinking to create sustainable solutions and future-focused ventures.
  • Ethical and Responsible Leadership — leading with integrity, accountability, and a commitment to societal advancement.

Praxorium is more than a platform. It is a movement shaping the future of learning, innovation, and global collaboration with purpose and impact.

DCAC-PRIXOR Lab

Building Reflective Practices

Reflection as the Engine of Growth

The DCAC-PRIXOR Lab is the Praxorium's centre for action learning and reflective practice. It works with academic institutions, professional cohorts, and leadership teams to embed learning-by-doing into the heart of how people grow, lead, and create impact.

The Lab's methodology is grounded in the principle that real learning happens through experience — not lectures. Drawing on action learning frameworks, case-based inquiry, and structured peer dialogue, the Lab creates conditions where participants learn by tackling real challenges, reflecting on what they discover, and refining their practice in the process.

Our Programmes & Services

  • Action learning sets for executive and leadership teams tackling live organisational challenges
  • Experiential learning intensives built around real projects and practitioner-led inquiry
  • Case-based pedagogy workshops designed to bring practice into the classroom
  • Reflective practice certification programmes rooted in doing, not just knowing
  • Organisational learning audits focused on building cultures of continuous improvement

Who Works With the Lab

The DCAC-PRIXOR Lab partners with business schools, universities, corporate learning academies, and professional associations seeking to move beyond passive knowledge transfer. Its facilitators — drawn from leading institutions in India, France, the UK, and across Europe — bring deep experience in making learning active, applied, and transformative.

Our Philosophy

We believe that lasting professional growth cannot come from knowledge alone. It comes from doing — from wrestling with real problems, experimenting with new approaches, and building the capacity to reflect critically on experience. The DCAC-PRIXOR Lab creates the conditions for this kind of learning: rigorous, grounded, and oriented toward real-world impact.

Executive Board

The Executive Board of the International Praxorium brings together leaders and representatives from member institutions worldwide, ensuring global reach and diversity. The Board is responsible for steering the strategic direction of the Praxorium, safeguarding its long-term sustainability, and upholding robust governance standards. Meeting at least once a year, the Board shapes policy, sets priorities, and defines the Praxorium's position on key global education and innovation issues. The Chair is elected for a three-year term, renewable once for two years.
